We have local trucking company, and we have used Mike's for years. First off, Mike's service is incredible. We can pull up there without any warning and generally have someone working on our truck right away. Repairs that at other shops used to take 3-4 days now only usually cost us a day of down time. Mike's are not cheap. They provide good service and charge for it. If you want a bargain shop and the wait/frustration that goes along with that, go somewhere else. If you want it fixed now and fixed right, go to Mikes.
We needed a tire swapped out on our big truck. We used the suspension to raise it so he didn't even have to jack it up. $25 a lug nut to swap out a spare? He didnt have to break a tire down, just swap a mounted spare out and charged us $200! I don't know how people like this can sleep at night! Don't get ripped off like we did!
It took two guys 3 1/2 hours to change 2 wheel seals and cost me $667. Ive had the same thing done at other shops for less than $300 and only took 45mins with 1 guy doing it
On Friday night, April 28, 2017 my best friend and I were road tripping back home from Colorado. We were on our way to Springfield and hit a deer outside of Collins. The highway patrolman called Mikes. To say I was nervous about having to ride with someone I didn't know, in a place I was completely unfamiliar with is a understatement. Jason, the guy who came to tow my friends car was so kind and so helpful. He kept us laughing and made us feel at ease. After dropping the car off he took us to the hotel where we had reservation and made sure we were ok before he made his way home. I can't say enough nice this about this company. At 10pm, I am sure he would have rather been at home with his family, but he was taking care of us. Oh did I mention it was pouring down rain. If I am ever back that way, and I have car trouble, these are the folks I'm going to call. They are truly angels!
